Vegan and Refined Sugar Free Apple Pie
With autumn in full swing, rustic vegan apple pie is the ultimate dessert to enjoy this season with loved ones. The apple pie is completely vegan, meaning we do not use animal products such as eggs nor dairy. Lightly spiced, moist, and not overly sweet, the apple pie fills your kitchen with the warming aromas of cinnamon and apple. Bake till golden brown and serve!
- Organic all-purpose flour 375g
- Organic cane sugar 38g + 100g
- Vegan butter 225g
- Cold water 56g
- Apple 900g
- Potato starch 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon powder 2 tsp
- Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
Tools and other items you will needFlour sieve, mixing bowl, wooden spoon, cling film, rolling pin, fridge, 9” diameter apple tart mold with removable bottom, knife, chopping board, frying pan, induction/frame cooking stove, baking tray (can put 9” mold), oven, baking paper, star or other shape cutter for decoration (optional), pie weight ( or dried bean, rice etc)
